West Metro Miracle League Celebrates DQ Day
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – It was a beautiful day for baseball and ice cream out at Miracle Park in Minnetonka.
Saturday is the 9th annual DQ Day. To celebrate, Dairy Queen brought ice cream to the players, coaches and fans at the West Metro Miracle League game.
The league creates an inclusive and fun environment for athletes with special needs.
Dairy Queen also gave them a check for $3,000 to support those efforts.
