Vigil Held For Rochester Teenager Killed In Fight
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A community is remembering a teenager who was killed in a fight this week.
Police say 15-year-old Jose Negrete was stabbed during a fight just after midnight on Friday. It happened outside a Domino's Pizza in Rochester.
Someone saw a group of teenagers fighting and called police. When they got there, officers found Negrete stabbed in the chest. He died on the way to the hospital.
Another 15-year-old boy was stabbed in the neck, but should be okay.
Friends and family gathered last night for a vigil near the place where the fight happened. One by one, people shared favorite memories or a prayer.
Police are still investigating what happened.
