Patrol: Multi-Car Crash After Van Stops For Ducks

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The State Patrol says a three-car crash happened in Fridley Sunday morning after a van stopped for ducks in the road.

The crash occurred shortly before 11:20 a.m. when a Chevrolet Astro stopped for the birds. A Ford Edge then rear-ended the Astro.

After the Edge spun out, it was hit by a Kia SUV.

The driver and a passenger in the Edge suffered injuries. They were taken to North Memorial Medical Center for treatment.

No one else was hurt.
