Authorities Seek 2 Suspects In Lauderdale Armed Robbery

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Authorities are asking for the public's help locating two suspects in an armed robbery in Lauderdale Saturday.

According to the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, the armed robbery occurred Saturday at 7:36 p.m. at a Super USA, located at 2424 Larpenteur Avenue.

In the robbery, two male suspects armed with handguns took cash from the register and cartons of Newport cigarettes.

One of the suspects is described as a black male with longer than shoulder length dreadlocks hair, wearing blue jeans, a green plaid long-sleeved shirt, a baseball hat with marijuana leave emblems on it, dark-colored shoes with white in them and wearing glasses. He also may have a mustache.

The other suspect is described as black male with tan pants, tan shoes with white soles, a green long-sleeved jacket, a green baseball hat, and shoulder-length dreadlocks hair. Some of the dreadlocks were pulled into a bun and pulled through the snap on the back of the baseball hat. He was also wearing glasses, had a small mustache and some facial hair on his chin.

The St. Anthony Police Department and the Ramsey County Crime Lab are investigating.
