Missing St. Cloud Vulnerable Adult Found In St. Augusta
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – St. Cloud police say the vulnerable adult they were seeking Friday morning has been found.
Abdifatah Omar Mohamed is a 32-year-old adult male with diabetes who has a past traumatic brain injury which limits his cognitive abilities.
Mohamed only communicates in the Somali language and he is usually under the care of another adult.
Before he was reported missing, Mohamed was last seen at his residence in the apartment building at 830 13th Street South just after 11 p.m. on July 7. Surveillance footage showed him leaving the apartment building alone on foot.
He was last seen wearing a cream colored long sleeve button dress shirt, black dress pants and black sandals.
A woman who heard information about Mohamed saw him walking on County Road 7 in St. Augusta, miles from his home. Police said he was in good health and has been reunited with his family and caregivers.
