Power Restored To Nearly All Xcel Customers

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Three days after a major storm wiped out electricity for more than 250,000 customers, nearly all have resumed power.

As of Friday morning, 1,650 costumers were still without power. Over 1,300 of which were in the metro area.

Crews cut power lines, cleared all the roads on Wednesday and continued to work to restore power on Thursday.

Xcel said they expect to have power restored to all customers by noon Friday.
