Administrator Responds To Claims On Prince Estate

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The special administrator overseeing the estate of the late rock superstar Prince says 16 people who have filed claims to heirship don't have sufficient evidence to proceed with genetic testing.

Another person was told there isn't enough information to pursue their claim.

Bremer Trust said genetic tests need to find a link between Prince's father and supposed half-brother.

However, two people have been told they will need to undergo genetic testing to establish a possible relationship. If they are related, Brianna Nelson and an 11-year-old girl could be the music legend's niece and grandniece.
