Zebra Mussels Found In 2 More Minnesota Lakes
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The DNR has identified Zebra Mussels in two Minnesota lakes.
The invasive species are in East Spirit Lake in Otter Tail County and in Lake Osakis in Todd and Douglas Counties. The agency will determine whether connected waters will need to be added to the infested waters list and ask the public to report anything.
Officials say to protect the state's water from the spread of Zebra Mussels, boaters must drain all water by removing plugs and dispose of unwanted bait in the trash.
