Police Searching For Suspect In Brooklyn Park Shooting
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Authorities are looking for a suspect after a reported shooting in Brooklyn Park early Tuesday morning.
The Brooklyn Park Police Department responded to a call at about 1 a.m. of shots fired on the 5800 block of 73rd Ave. When officers arrived to the scene, they heard more shots being fired but couldn't determine who the intended target of the shooting was.
Authorities set up a perimeter in an attempt to locate the suspect. A SWAT team with the Brooklyn Park Police Department searched the area, which is an apartment complex, but didn't locate a suspect. A helicopter with the Minnesota State Patrol also assisted in the search.
Police say the incident is under investigation.
