4 Things To Do Today From Saturday, July 30, 2016

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Here are four not-to-be-missed events that Natalie Nyhus and Mike Augustyniak covered on WCCO 4 News Saturday Morning!

1. Get outside and play! Not sure where to go? Head to Fort Snelling Park in St. Paul for the Summer 4Play, where you can try everything from standup paddle boards to bikes. You can also explore the beautiful park trails. Plus, there's a lot of music and art. Something for all ages. The activities are set up from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.

2. Take a walk on the wild side. Disney's "The Lion King" is in the midst of a five-week run at the Orpheum Theatre in Minneapolis. There will be a special sensory-friendly performance Saturday for audience members with social and learning disabilities. Tickets are still available for the show through the box office. "The Lion King" runs for one more week.

3. Hit a home run with the sports fan in your life. Members of the 1991 Minnesota Twins World Championship team will be at Mall of America Saturday. Dan Gladden, Gene Larkin and Scott Leius will be in the Rotunda starting at noon. You are encouraged to arrive early and bring stuff for them to sign. There is no cost for an autograph or picture!

4. Art fairs are great for discovering new artists. But Saturday, you have the chance to not only buy new art, but create some, too. The Loring Park Art Festival in downtown Minneapolis runs Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
