Apple Valley Man Accused Of Ordering Ecstasy From Germany

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A 29-year-old Apple Valley man is accused of ordering controlled substances from Germany, according to the Dakota County Attorney's Office.

Johnathan Ray Feliciano faces second-degree controlled substance possession, first-degree conspiracy to sell controlled substances and conspiracy to import controlled substances across state borders – all felonies – in connection to the July 2016 incident.

Feliciano is accused of ordering MDMA, which is a schedule I controlled substance, from Freren, Germany. The package was intercepted, however, by the United States Custom and Border Protection at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York, New York on July 21.

Authorities then conducted a controlled delivery of the package to Feliciano's address in Apple Valley. When the package was accepted by Feliciano, a search warrant was obtained and executed.

According to the criminal complaint, when authorities entered the residence, Feliciano was attempting to flush the drugs down the toilet. Authorities say various other illegal drugs, syringes and paraphernalia were found, along with nearly $40,000 in cash.

If convicted, Feliciano could face up to, or more than, 25 years in prison.
