Man Dead After Shooting In Northeast Minneapolis
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Police say one man is dead after a shooting in northeast Minneapolis Tuesday evening.
Officers say they responded to the 100 block of 15th Avenue Northeast at around 8:30 p.m. on a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found a man laying on the sidewalk who had been shot. Paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
A neighbor, who investigators say was known to the victim, was taken into custody for questioning. Police wouldn't elaborate on their relationship, and say they aren't looking for any additional suspects.
