Body Pulled From Miss. River In Washington Co. Identified

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Washington County Sheriff's Office has released the identity of the body that was pulled from the Mississippi River Monday.

On Monday at 4:46 p.m., the sheriff's office received a report from a boater who located a body in the river. The victim was found about 2.5 miles south of Hidden Harbor Marina.

There were no clear signs of trauma on the body.

The sheriff's office identified the body Friday as 35-year-old Yien Jock. He was homeless at the time of his death.

Jock's cause of death is being investigated by the Ramsey County Medical Examiner.
