New Pedestrian Bridge Ready For Minnesota State Fair
FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn. (WCCO) -- Another milestone happened Monday as we get closer to the Great Minnesota Get Together.
Workers used a crane to hoist a new pedestrian bridge into place over Como Avenue in preparation for the Minnesota State Fair. Officials say it took about a half hour to complete the project.
The bridge connects the southern parking lots to the State Fairgrounds next to Warner Coliseum. The Minnesota State Fair starts Thursday morning and goes through Labor Day.
