Man, 73, Thrown From Horse-Drawn Wagon In Crash
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 73-year-old man was injured in a horse and buggy crash in central Minnesota Saturday.
Just after 2:30 p.m., the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office responded to call on the 3000 block of 240th Avenue Northwest in Colfax, Minnesota.
According to the sheriff's office, horses were pulling a covered wagon when they got frightened and ran into a ditch.
The driver of the wagon was thrown and injured, according to the sheriff's office. The 73-year-old was airlifted from the scene and taken to St. Cloud Hospital with unknown injuries.
Other passengers on the wagon were not injured, the sheriff's office said.
