Girl Killed By Driver Fleeing Police Identified

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — The Hennepin County Medical Examiner has identified the 16-year-old girl who was killed by a hit-and-run driver who was fleeing police.

The incident happened Friday in Minneapolis, after officers saw a vehicle driving fast and erratically just before 10 p.m. near North Emerson and 36th Avenues.

Officers tried to pull over the driver, who took off and hit a 16-year-old girl. She later died from her injuries at North Memorial Medical Center.

On Monday morning, she was identified as Diana Ivette Garcia-Alvarado, of Phoenix.

After hitting Garcia-Alvarado, the driver bailed out of his moving car and ran away, as his car continued to move. His car hit several parked vehicles before coming to a stop.

He was soon arrested a block away while trying to carjack a vehicle with a family inside.

Police say the suspect had two felony arrest warrants out for him, and a handgun was found in his vehicle.

If only they had given Rashid turner a job at the State Fair… much safer if he was employed. Or in jail where he belongs.

Should have a ‘Brown Lives Matter’ march through north Minnapolis, obviously Black Lives Matter folks don’t give care who they kill.

Why isn’t the driver identified or isn’t that politically correct since it might speak the truth about what is going on in this liberal plethora?

In Minnesota because you have a warrant out for one crime you can do more crimes and not be charged with them as they all must be treated as one simple crime together. This guy will be back out in 3 to 5 years.
