Study: Facebook Can Elicit Feelings Tantamount To Weddings, Babies
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Facebook can certainly keep you busy, but can it also make you just as happy as weddings and babies?
A new study from Carnegie Mellon University and Facebook found the social media site provides the types of interaction with friends and family that users care about. So much so, it can bring up the same feelings of satisfaction as having a wedding or baby.
The study is a result of a research into Facebook activity and activity of nearly 2,000 Facebook users from 19 countries over the course of three months.
