Police: 212 Guns Recovered From 4th Precinct This Year

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Minneapolis Police Department said Thursday that nine guns were recovered from the Fourth Precinct over the past week, from Aug. 30 to Sept. 9.

Police say so far this year, 212 guns from the Fourth Precinct have been placed into evidence. Authorities say they are guns that were used to commit crimes or were possessed illegally.

Across the city of Minneapolis, 448 guns have been recovered so far this year.
