Timberwolves Announce Training Camp Roster

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Training camp is just around the corner for the Minnesota Timberwolves, and they finalized their roster for it on Monday.

Some of the newcomers on the roster include free agent signings Cole Aldrich of Bloomington and Brandon Rush, who is entering his ninth NBA season. Also on the roster is No. 5 overall draft pick Kris Dunn, a rookie out of Providence.

Other new names include guard John Lucas III, who is in his eighth NBA season, and guard Toure Murry out of Wichita State.

Training camp will also include the big names, like Andrew Wiggins, Karl-Anthony Towns, Ricky Rubio, Zach LaVine, Gorgui Dieng and Shabazz Muhammad. Apple Valley native Tyus Jones is also on the roster.

Training camp opens with the team's first practice on Tuesday. The Timberwolves are holding training camp workouts at Mayo Clinic Square for the second straight year. The regular season opener is at Memphis on Oct. 26.
