MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Striking nurses will vote on a proposal by Allina Health Monday.

This proposal does not have a recommendation from the bargaining team, as nurses said there were some gains and some take backs.

While they will keep the two most popular union health plans for the duration of the new contract, Allina Health is offering a $700 bonus to provide an incentive for nurses to transition to its company health plans.

Allina did agree to 24-hour security in the emergency room, and future training aimed at patient and nurse safety.

More than 4,000 nurses have been on strike since Labor Day.
