NEENAH, Wis. (AP) — Police in at least two Wisconsin communities are investigating reported cases of children getting tampered candy while trick-or-treating on Halloween.

Two families in Neenah reported finding nails inside Tootsie Rolls. Police in Wisconsin Rapids are looking into a similar reported case.

Authorities recommend parents check their children’s Halloween candy before allowing the children to eat it.

The kids or someone did it themselves. No one hands out candy with nails. It is a hyped myth.
Just like the myth that people want to adopt blacks cats just for some kind of crazy Halloween mistreatment. All stupid hyped myths.
