Authorities ID Victim In Minneapolis Homicide

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities say a 26-year-old man died Thursday in a shooting in north Minneapolis.

Two people, and adult male and female, were arrested Friday in connection with the incident. Minneapolis police were called at about 11 a.m. to a shooting near the intersection of Broadway and Bryant Avenues. When officers arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound outside Little Caesar's Pizza.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. He has been identified by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner as Larry Childs Flowers of Minneapolis. Authorities say he died of multiple gunshot wounds.

Thursday night, police arrested 25-year-old Quintel Dominic Flowers on a probable cause murder charge and 32-year-old Nicole Lynn Rantala on a probable cause aiding an offender charge. Both are in the Hennepin County Jail.

The incident remains under investigation.
