November Could Go Out With Thunderstorms

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – While Minnesotans saw heavy snow in the days before Thanksgiving, it's possible they'll also see a thunderstorm before the month's end.

Meteorologist Matt Brickman says the weekend's mild temperatures could lead to scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms Monday, a day expected to have a high nearly 20 degrees average.

The wet weather will begin Sunday afternoon. Moving up from the southern part of the state, the rain clouds will wash over Minnesota, hitting the Twin Cities metro around 8 p.m.

The rain will linger into Monday, which is expected to have a high near 50 degrees.

The rest of the workweek looks to be mild and cloudy, with chances for rain and snow showers. During the first days of December, the highs look to be closer to average, in the mid 30s.
