4 Things To Do From Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Get out and make the most of this first weekend in December with these suggestions from Natalie Nyhus, Mike Augustyniak and Rachel Slavik on WCCO 4 News Saturday Morning!

1. FlyOver America at Mall of America has been transformed for the holiday season. Guests will help Santa Claus search for his missing elves during a flight across America and up to the North Pole. Tickets are $16.95 for adults and $12.95 for kids.

2. No hockey at the Xcel Energy Center Saturday. Instead, all your favorite Disney characters will lace up their skates! You can see characters from "The Lion King," "Frozen," "Peter Pan," "The Little Mermaid" and much more. Shows are at 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets range from $16.50 to $55.

3. The holiday celebrations continue, this time in St. Paul! It's the Grand Meander along Grand Avenue. The event features breakfast with Santa until 10:30 a.m. a variety of art shows, musical performances, trolley rides and soup tasting. Grand Meander runs Saturday morning through 3 p.m.

4. The largest ice fishing show in the country at the St. Paul RiverCentre. It features more than 190 exhibits with products and services dedicated to die-hard ice fishing and winter sports enthusiasts. You'll see the latest and greatest in gear like fish houses, augers, underwater cameras, apparel and more. The show is Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tickets are $10.
