2 Brothers Missing While Hunting Found In NE Minn.

DULUTH, Minn. (AP) — Authorities say two brothers have been rescued after going missing while hunting in northeastern Minnesota.

The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office got a 911 call Friday evening about two hunters late in returning to their meeting point.

The hunters, ages 63 and 59, were supposed to return to the Echo Lake Ruffed Grouse Hunter walking trail at about 4:30 p.m., but could not be reached by cellphone.

First responders including the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office Volunteer Rescue Squad were dispatched to the area. Searchers found the two men and their dogs just after 11 p.m. Friday, five hours after they were reported missing.

The hunters were in good condition and did not need medical attention.
