Crystal, West St. Paul Declare Snow Emergencies

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Be careful where you park -- with snow continuing to fall in the metro area, cities are beginning to declare snow emergencies for Sunday.

West St. Paul

On snow emergency routes, there is no parking after 2 a.m. until the routes are fully plowed. On all other streets, parking is prohibited after 8 a.m. until the street is fully plowed or until 8 p.m. (whichever comes first).

Cars parked on snow emergency routes after 2 a.m. will be towed. Cars on other streets and alleys will be tagged first and then towed if they are not moved.

During snow emergencies, parking is prohibited on all public streets until the snow stops and the street or alley has been lowed. Cars parked on public streets during snow emergencies will be tagged and towed at the owner's expense.
