Officials: Archdiocese Maintains Promise To Protect Kids From Sexual Abuse
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) –The Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis is keeping up with its agreement to protect children from sexual abuse, officials said.
Church officials and prosecutors reached a settlement last December. It calls for substantial cultural changes within the church after the archdiocese was accused of mishandling an abuse case.
Officials, including Archbishop Bernard Hebda, provided an update on their progress Wednesday to the Ramsey County Chief Judge.
