Hundreds Take Icy Dive Into 2017 At Lake Minnetonka
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Hundreds of brave Minnesotans started 2017 with an icy dip into Lake Minnetonka.
The ALARC Ice Dive is an annual event that started in 1990.
The event typically brings in about $10,000 to $12,000 for charity.
All of the money raised Sunday will go to veterans, the South Lake Minnetonka Police Department and the City of Excelsior Fire Department.
