Sheriff: Man Who Went Missing In Dakota County Found Deceased
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A 61-year-old man who went missing in Dakota County Sunday has been found deceased.
On Wednesday, the Dakota County Sheriff's Office confirmed Bruce Peterson was found deceased via Twitter.
Peterson was last seen near the Dakota County Fairgrounds around 10 p.m. July 2. He was staying near there with his wife. They are from out of state.
Around 50 volunteers joined deputies to search the grounds again Tuesday.
Peterson was reportedly found at approximately 9:30 a.m. Wednesday by a searcher in a remote and heavily wooded area near the fairgrounds.
