Survey Looks At Who Tips The Best In America

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- If you're a Republican guy from Connecticut, servers at restaurants can expect a nice tip.

Here's a list of the best tippers according to the survey from CreditCards.com: Men, Republicans, people from the Northeast, baby boomers and anyone who tips with a credit or debit card.

All of these groups leave a 20-percent tip on average.

Conversely, the study says women, Democrats, Southerners and those paying with cash leave a 15 to 16 percent tip.
