Mpls. Fire: Construction Worker Hurt After Falling Into Hole Next To House

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Minneapolis fire officials say a worker was injured after falling into a hole next to a north Minneapolis house Tuesday morning.

According to the Minneapolis Fire Department, fire crews responded to the report of a floor collapse in a home under construction located on the 4600 block of Humboldt Avenue North.

Upon arrival, rescue crews found a worker who had fallen into a reported 5-foot hole next to the house.

The victim was extricated and taken to the paramedics.
