State Patrol: Frigid Weather Proves Dangerous For Minn. Drivers

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- As always with frigid temperatures, it's important to stay vigilant on the roads.

Between midnight and 9 p.m. Saturday, the State Patrol says 373 crashes happened on Minnesota roadways.

Thirty-nine of those had injuries -- two were serious.

So far, there have been 124 vehicle spin-outs.

As the bitter cold continues, these numbers are expected to rise.
