MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — A family needs a place to stay after a townhouse fire in the south metro Sunday afternoon.

Firefighters were called to a townhouse on the 3000 block of Shields Drive in Eagan at about 12:30 p.m. There are four units there. The fire started in the garage of one of them.

Investigators say that unit had the most damage. Everyone got out safely, but the family that lives there can’t go home yet.
