MnDOT: Without Repair Funds, Stone Arch Bridge Could Close

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- MnDOT says it may have to close the Stone Arch Bridge if it lawmakers don't allocate $13 million for repairs.

The popular Minneapolis landmark was built across the Mississippi River in the 1880s.

It undergoes annual inspections, but MnDOT says the first issue that needs to be fixed is the decoration of mortar at the water level.
