Terry Clark | Senior Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer, UnitedHealth Group

Terry M. Clark oversees branding, marketing and advertising for UnitedHealth Group and its two operating platforms, UnitedHealthcare and Optum, with responsibility for helping positively shape the customer experience in the midst of an ever-changing health care marketplace. Clark leads efforts to understand what customers want and increase their satisfaction and loyalty.

Previously, Clark served as chief marketing officer, UnitedHealthcare Medicare & Retirement, where he led marketing and direct-to-consumer engagement efforts focused on seniors. In addition, Clark had responsibility for developing and managing UnitedHealthcare’s consumer alliances with key business partners.

Clark joined UnitedHealthcare in 2006 from InterActiveCorp, a consumer technology company comprised of leading digital brands, where he last served as executive vice president, sales and marketing for the company’s Entertainment Publications division.

Clark serves on the boards of the Guthrie Theater, Minnesota Children’s Museum and the UnitedHealthcare Children’s Foundation.
