Sal Abbate | Senior Vice President, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, Andersen
Sal Abbate, senior vice president and chief sales and marketing officer, is responsible for all customer-facing facets of the organization including sales, marketing, customer experience, order management and field service. Sal joined Andersen in 2011.
Prior to joining Andersen, Sal was the general manager of the North American window film business for Solutia Inc. before being promoted to Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing. Sal also spent 16 years with Armstrong World Industries in a variety of functions including engineering, plant management, sales and marketing. Sal championed the introduction of the six sigma methodology at Armstrong and earned Master Black Belt status.
Sal earned his bachelor in Industrial Engineering degree from Georgia Tech, and his MBA in marketing and strategy from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
