Waconia Student Athlete, 16, Killed In Crash Near Mankato

A Waconia high school athlete was killed Friday evening in a car crash near Mankato, according to her softball team. Alexia Kretsch, 16, was driving northbound on Highway 169 when a car traveling eastbound on County Road 33 crossed in front of her, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Vikings Player Donates Handicap-Accessible Van To Boy Injured In Crash

Thanks to a Vikings player, a Minnesota town is helping a family when they need it most. Harley Carnes, 9, was in a serious car accident in March while on vacation with his mom in Florida. It happened the day before his birthday, and he was paralyzed from the neck down.
