7th-Round Pick Price Finds Mentor In Former Viking

Long before Jabari Price was trying to build an NFL future, he caught the eye of Tyrone Carter. When Price was getting ready for the NFL draft, he trained with Carter. After Price was selected by the Minnesota Vikings in the seventh round, the former NFL defensive back was even more eager to mentor his fellow Pompano Beach, Florida, resident and Blanche Ely High School graduate.

Favre Headed To Packers HOF In 2015

Former Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre will be inducted into the team’s Hall of Fame and have his jersey retired next year. Favre writes on his official website that it will be an honor to have his name placed among others such Bart Starr, Curly Lambeau, Ray Nitschke and Vince Lombardi, to name a few.

The Minnesota Vikings have placed cornerback Captain Munnerlyn, safety Andrew Sendejo and tight end Chase Ford on the physically unable to perform list to start training camp. The other player held out of the first full practice on Friday was wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson, who watched wearing a bucket-shaped fishing hat because of a minor foot injury. The team announced his status as day to day.
