Police Seek Suspects In Albert Lea Hotel Robbery

Authorities in southern Minnesota are looking for two suspects after an armed robbery at a hotel on Monday night. Albert Lea Police received a call at about 11:06 p.m. on a report of an aggravated robbery at the Holiday In Express on the 77000 block of East Main Street.

Father, Son Charged In Connection With Roseville Pawn Shop Shooting

A father and son have been charged in connection with the robbery of a pawn shop in Roseville, Minn. early last week. According to the Ramsey County Attorney’s Office, 51-year-old Marvin Spencer and 25-year-old Marvin Lee Clinton Spencer Jr. have been charged with aggravated robbery and attempted intentional second degree murder.

Authorities said a man suspected of at least two robberies in the St. Cloud area was arrested Wednesday afternoon. Waite Park Police and local FBI agents executed a search warrant at about 2:30 p.m. at a residence on the 1400 block of Westwind Road in St. Cloud.

Police: Tip From Ex-Wife Led To Robbery Suspect

Authorities say a tip from an ex-wife pointed them to a Sartell man suspected in a string of armed robberies along Interstate 94 from the St. Cloud area to the Minneapolis suburbs. Police released a security video after a masked man robbed a Burger King in Maple Grove Wednesday. The ex-wife of 34-year-old Douglas Wayne Gravelle saw the video on the news and told police he wore the same clothes at a child support hearing. She said he’s addicted to prescription drugs and unemployed.

A 29-year-old man is accused of beating a Columbia store owner with the butt of his handgun, and leaving the victim covered in his own blood, according to authorities. Brandon Benjamin Broszko was charged with two counts of first-degree attempted aggravated robbery, according to a criminal complaint filed in Anoka County.

Man Who Caused Stillwater Bomb Scare Charged With Aggravated Robbery

A Michigan man was charged Monday with 2nd-degree aggravated robbery after robbing a bank Saturday morning with a fake bomb – which shutdown a part of downtown Stillwater for hours. According to a complaint filed in Washington County, 65-year-old David Michael Tyler traveled from his town of Cheboygan, Mich. to Minnesota in order to rob a bank. Tyler says he decided to rob a bank because he owes $90,000 in child support payments and felt he had no other option.
