Day Care Provider Gets 30 Days In Jail, Community Service In Baby’s Death

A 46-year-old Farmington day care provider was sentenced Tuesday in connection with the July 2012 death of a 3-month-old at her in-home day care. Rebecca Lynn Graupmann was sentenced to 30 days in jail, 80 hours of community service and issued a $500 fine in the death of Kaiden Robert Staebell.

Police Investigating Baby’s Death In Plymouth

Authorities are investigating after a baby was found not breathing at a Plymouth apartment Wednesday morning, taken to a hospital and died. Plymouth Police responded to the 6100 block of Vicksburg Lane at about 6:40 a.m. on a report that an infant was not breathing.

Authorities said Thursday night a death investigation in Champlin involving a 4-month-old baby dating back to February has been ruled a homicide. 5-Month-Old Girl Dies After Being Left In Minivan

Police in Moorhead say a 5-month-old girl has died after being left in a minivan for hours. Authorities arrived at the scene about 8:20 p.m. Tuesday and learned the girl had been left in a car seat inside the vehicle for about four hours. The first responder found that the infant girl had been moved to a nearby apartment and began administering CPR. However, the child was pronounced dead at the scene.
