Menahga Man Indicted In Choking Death Of Teen

A Menahga man was indicted Friday in the strangulation death of a 19-year-old woman in February, according to the Hubbard County Attorney’s Office. Harley David Leritz, 21, was indicted on first- and second-degree murder charges by a grand jury in the death of Kiela Knowles.

Charges: Driver Was Drunk When He Fatally Struck Couple At 95 MPH

A Golden Valley man was driving drunk at over 100 miles per hour the night he smashed into and killed a young couple in Minneapolis. Melvin Jones and Brandy Banks-Sutta were stopped at a light at Morgan Avenue North and Olson Memorial Highway on Nov. 3, 2013 when they were hit from behind. They were killed instantly.

A Minnesota couple facing allegations of stealing public assistance spent their second day in a Hennepin County courtroom Friday. Woman Charged In Hit-And-Run Death Of 92-Year-Old Motorcyclist

A Vadnais Heights woman is charged with one count of criminal vehicular homicide after the hit-and-run death of a 92-year-old motorcyclist in St. Paul on Friday morning. According to the Ramsey County Attorney’s office, 27-year-old Autumn Brenae Mason stopped at a stop sign at the intersection of Ivy Avenue and Prosperity Avenue at 7:45 a.m. Roy W. Kromschroeder, 92, was also at a stopped at the intersection, which is controlled by stop signs in all directions.
