Uptown is home to many of Minneapolis’ restaurants and retail shops and at times, decision making can at times be difficult. If you are making a trip to this popular location of the city and you want to get the best for your buck, here are a few of my top picks, in no particular order.
One of my favorite things is finding a little place I’ve never heard of and having a great dining experience. Maybe it’s the atmosphere, the food, the service or perhaps all of them! Here are a few places I stumbled upon that hopefully you can enjoy also!

For me, wine bars are half about the wine and half about the food that goes with the wine. A good wine bar has great success in both categories — added with a comfy space perfect for sipping. The Twin Cities are busting with wine bars, which means luckily for us, there are plenty to choose from.
During the summer, one of the things I most enjoy in Uptown is hitting up a nice happy hour on Sunday and just letting the day go by. I find it quite relaxing!
