Blunt Force Injuries
A Minneapolis woman pleaded guilty Monday to helping her father dispose of the body of the woman he murdered.
A Minneapolis woman’s death has been ruled a homicide by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s office. The body of Nerissa Annette Shaw, 46, was found wrapped in a sheet along the 5000 block of Cedar Lake Road in St. Louis Park on Tuesday. Authorities say Shaw died from multiple blunt-force injuries. Police arrested 54-year-old Walter Thompson III, also of Minneapolis, on probable cause of second-degree homicide. Thompson and Shaw had a history of domestic issues, and he was currently on probation for violating an order of protection involving the victim.
Authorities have identified the elderly woman who was found murdered in her Minneapolis home on Wednesday.
