Blue Earth County deputies found the skeletal remains of a body Thursday, authorities said, in a heavily wooded and rural area of South Bend Township.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner says the 24-year-old Georgia woman found dead in a trunk last month died as a result of “homicide by unspecified means.” The medical examiner confirmed the body was that of Klaressa Lorayne Cook, of Gaynesville, Ga.
A man, previously indicted for murdering a St. Paul teen and stashing her body in the trunk of a car, is now a suspect in a similar murder of a 24-year-old woman, according to police.
