Garth Brooks Breaks Ticket Sales Record In Minneapolis

Not a huge surprise — when you add a whopping 11 shows in one city, it’s probably only a matter of time. Still, Garth Brooks announced that his nearly two-week run slated for Minneapolis in November has shattered his North American ticket sales record.

St. Louis Park Offers $500 To Find Rock-Throwing Suspects

After numerous incidents of rocks being throwing through moving car windows in St. Louis Park, authorities are offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest of those involved. St. Louis Park reports that two incidents took place on Monday night between 10 and 11:30 p.m. Then there were another five reports of rocks thrown through passing car windows between 3 and 10:10 p.m. on Tuesday.

Wet Snow Snapped Trees, Knocked Out Power For 24,000

Tuesday had numerous Minnesotans cutting up tree branches that broke from the weight of the snow. Those damaged trees took out power lines that temporarily left 24,000 in the dark.
