A 1,200-pound Black Angus bull was on the loose on the streets of Grove City Thursday night. The Meeker County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a loose animal just after 7 p.m. near 7th Street and Maple Lane.
There will be no “Running of the Bulls” at Canterbury Park after all. While Canterbury had not formally agreed to host “The Great Bull Run” next year, the event was tentatively scheduled for next May.
The woman injured Wednesday when a bull got loose at a county fair is now in satisfactory condition.

A farmer has died after he was attacked by a bull on his farm in Iowa County. Sheriff’s officials say 78-year-old Alfred Albrecht and his son were feeding cattle on the farm near Avoca Sunday.
