It’s a historic day at St. Paul’s Como Park as the former State Fair carousel turns 100. Volunteers who maintain Cafesjian’s Carousel threw a centennial celebration Saturday and gave out free rides for a short time.
A historic carousel that was saved from auction years ago is opening once again this year at Como Park.
As usual this time of year, there are all kinds of event and exhibits to take in. But at Sixth and Hennepin, on the second floor of the Plymouth Building, there’s an exhibit that’s different than most, combining the holidays, family fun and historic interest.
