Sheriff: Ramsey Co. Deputy Caught On Camera Abusing K-9

A Ramsey County Sheriff’s deputy faces criminal charges after he was caught on surveillance cameras abusing his K-9 partner at a Carlton casino. The Carlton County Sheriff’s Office says 48-year-old Brett Arthur Berry was at Black Bear Casino on June 14 and 15 for a canine training and certification event.

DPS: 100 Minnesota Traffic Fatalities In 2015

Minnesota reached a grim milestone Tuesday after two fatal crashes pushed the state’s 2015 traffic fatality number to 100. The Minnesota Department of Public Safety’s Office of Traffic Safety says a head-on crash killed two drivers in Carlton, and a roll-over crash in St. Louis County killed a man who was not wearing his seat belt.

State Patrol: 2 Adults Killed, Toddler Seriously Injured In Crash

Two people are dead and a three-year-old child is seriously injured after a head-on crash Tuesday morning in Carlton County. The Minnesota State Patrol says a Chevy Impala crossed the centerline of Highway 45 near Interstate 35, striking an Oldsmobile 88 head-on at about 8:24 a.m.

Police: Man Missing From Black Bear Casino Has Been Found

The missing 22-year-old man who’s been gone since Monday was found safe on Thursday evening. Authorities said Robert Bueno Jr. had last been seen at the Black Bear Casino in Carlton, Minn., in the early hours of Sept. 9. Family was concerned for his welfare. It was unclear how he left the casino.
