Authorities Rescue Man, 19, From Caves In Lilydale Park

A teenager is recovering at Regions Hospital in St. Paul after spending hours trapped in a cave in Lilydale Regional Park. Rescue crews got the call for help around 12:45 a.m. Sunday.

Ice Caves Reopen On Lake Superior

National Park rangers have reopened the popular ice caves along the Lake Superior shore near the Apostle Islands. Officials closed the area Thursday night because of the strong winter storm and uncertainty how it would affect ice conditions on the lake.
