Sergeant Cory Slifko was arrested back in June. He was off-duty and driving his personal vehicle at the time. Rosemount Police caught him after getting a 911 call that someone was driving around damaging mailboxes.
South St. Paul Police say a 13-year veteran of their department was arrested Tuesday morning for allegedly driving under the influence and fleeing a peace officer. Sgt. Cory Slifko was off duty and driving his personal car near Rosemount when a 911 call was made about his driving and his possibly damaging road-side mailboxes. When an officer tried to stop Slifko, he allegedly attempted to drive away. He was, however, eventually stopped and arrested at around 10:30 a.m.
